"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24

College Choices
So this weekend my college choices were switched around. Going into my weekend visit to Biola University my choices for college were clear cut; Moody Bible Institute first, then Biola, and then The Master's College a distant third. However, after spending the weekend hanging out in dorms, meeting new people, laughing at stuff that wasn't funny, and experiencing life on Biola's campus, Biola became the number one choice. The only problem left is how I can afford to pay the 35,000 dollars a year tuition fee. I will have to pray for awesome student aid and some help from God to get me enough money for me to attend. If I go there I will major in Biblical Studies.

Go Kings!!!!
Today I am celebrating the first victory of my Sacramento Kings. Last night we defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 100-95. The score also looked much closer than the game actually was; a late surge from the Grizzlies helped the score look respectable. We are still a disastrous 1-4 but our rebuilding efforts have not been in vain. Martin scored 33 points and Hawes was a force in the paint, as well as making two threes. Though this year may not be our triumphant return to greatness, but that time is coming to the present very swiftly...

Election Results
Check out Proposition 8 passing and how close Proposition 4 came to passing.
Fantasy Football Update
I am in second place in my fantasy league at this time. The only person in front of me is my former youth pastor, although he does have a substantial 1,000 point lead on me. By the way, my Jay Cutler prediction (see past postings) was right on the money.
Thoughts on Obama Victory
Alright, you all know that I am a Republican and would have loved to see McCain win last night. But I know there is no changing what has been done, so instead of complain about the past, I'll complain about the future. Just kidding. I believe Obama is a good family man and I love the history made by the first black president, yet I don't agree with an inch of his policies. The next four years will bring America as close to communism as possible without being communist. Take all the money from the rich and give it to the poor ("Spread the wealth around" -Barack Obama). Our Supreme Court will become full of liberal judges, who will further the killing of unborn babies (some call it abortion), destroy the definition of family and marriage (some call it same-sex marriage) and limit fundamental rights (gun control, speech).
Yet there is a silver lining. Here in California Prop 8, banning gay marriage, passed. And of course the best medicine to every problem is to know that God is always in control; and He knows what he is doing.
