"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24

Summer Soon
So today is May 14th, ten days until my birthday. It was a beautiful day today; a slightly hot day with a hint of cool wind. The days are slowing to a crawl as time nears to the start of summer. As always my hardest classes are pre-calculus and Spanish. I am also incredibly irritated with the librarians at school, who gave me a B in a teachers assistant rule. Today Ms. M showed me the criteria for the semester and in all of the categories i believed i earned an A. Time is also slowing to an even smaller crawl as i wait for Tuesdays and Sundays, when i go to youth group and can talk to T. My grandparents have all left and the house will be quiet (relatively) till my sisters wedding in June. I have to admit that i really hate when the house is quiet; i much prefer the hustle and bustle of family coming and going. I can't wait till this summer; it will be incredible. It will be my first summer when i can drive, it is my senior year, the T factor (maybe), summer camp, sister's wedding, family reunion in Arizona, and our camping trip to Canada. That's all i can think of to talk about for now.

The Reason to Blog
So i finally started it. I know not how long or how frequently I will keep up with my now digital journal, but i have started to. All out there who wonder why I take on such an exercise of will, here is the answer; legacy. Inspired on by a book by the name of John Adams by David McCullough, i decided that my childhood should be cemented into something, and what would be better than a blog in the twenty-first century. And so it begins.
